To everyone who has supported us this year: thank you for helping us continue to do what we do best.
As pest experts in a region notorious for ever-changing weather, we’re always on top of the shifting seasons at Pest-End. From New England’s chilly winters to sunny summers to crisp, cool autumns, we’ve come to appreciate each one—despite any pests that might come with them.
However, there’s something special about this particular time of year. It’s surrounded by a different kind of buzz—not from stinging insects or other pests, but from the excitement of the holidays. It’s a season full of gratitude, best spent reflecting on another year past and looking forward to a great new year ahead.
This year, we couldn’t be more grateful to look back on a wonderful year. Over the course of 2023, we’ve had the privilege of collaborating with an amazing team to accomplish incredible goals together.
In pest control and beyond, we’re always striving to make a positive impact on our community. We wanted to take a moment to celebrate our team’s important initiatives that have made a difference beyond pest prevention, led by our Projects & Outreach Coordinator Patty Trudel.
On the heels of Giving Tuesday, take a look at our team’s year-long efforts to give back and keep our communities thriving, one project at a time.
One of many ongoing projects that Patty oversees is Pest-End's participation in our local community garden. Located in Hampstead, NH in collaboration with Saint Anne Parish, this garden is home to several thriving (and pest-free!) crops maintained by us—as well as our friends and neighbors at other local organizations.
Every fruit and veggie grown here throughout the year is donated to the food pantry to benefit individuals and families in need across Rockingham County.
Strong, smart, & bold. Those are the attributes that Girls Inc. Of New Hampshire inspires in girls and young women ages 5-18. They accomplish this crucial mission by ensuring they have the support and resources needed to thrive through after school and school vacation programs, summer camps, educational and leadership opportunities, and more.
Patty volunteers her time weekly at the Girls Inc. Dinner Club, helping to feed girls and their families with 5 healthy meals per week.
“We feed on an average 70 to 80 girls a day,” said Patty. “Last week, their industrial can opener broke, and they were in desperate need of some new cutting boards. We were able to purchase and donate a brand-new industrial can opener and two new cutting boards.”
As a women-owned and operated business, we couldn’t be prouder to stand with Girls, Inc. and support girls and young women in our community, giving them the resources and confidence to reach their full potential and follow in our footsteps as capable, compassionate leaders.
In New England, mosquitoes are as common a pest as they come—but easily manageable with the right pest prevention plan and resources. In other parts of the world, however, mosquitoes pose an entirely different level of danger. In communities where malaria-carrying mosquitoes are present, one child dies from this terrible disease every minute that passes. Together with United To Beat Malaria, we’re hoping to put an end to this tragedy.
On Giving Tuesday this year, Pest-End will make a $7,000 donation that will be matched by the nonprofit organization—a total contribution of $14,000.

Based in Andover, MA, Project Home Again provides low-income families with the items they need to live comfortably—from furniture and small appliances to bedding and other household goods. This incredible nonprofit organization ensures that every contribution makes a difference.
As part of our ongoing holiday initiative, we’re teaming up with Project Home Again and inviting our team members to donate new pillows. For every new pillow we collect, we’ll match the donation with a twin mattress encasement—the first line of defense against bed bugs and preventing infestations from starting!

During this time of year, we’re reminded of how lucky we are. We have a dedicated, hardworking team servicing a great community of local customers and partners—and each of those individuals makes these community outreach initiatives possible.
To everyone who has supported us this year: thank you for helping us continue to do what we do best. We wish you all a happy, safe Thanksgiving and Giving Tuesday. We can’t wait for another year of doing great work together!
