Pest-End Exclusion Pro Services

Exclusion Pro Systems are Pest-End Exterminators’ answer to the growing need for a more permanent solution to keeping vertebrate pests such as mice, bats, and rats out of your home or business. Utilizing decades of experience addressing pest control and wildlife issues as well as employing industry-leading science, we are able to identify the most common areas that vertebrate pests target to enter a structure. Combining the use of exclusion materials available on the market as well as materials we custom fabricate, we developed a system that can permanently exclude vertebrate pests. We also have selected materials and procedures that, when installed, are aesthetically pleasing, leaving no evidence that there was once a pest infestation present. As advancements are made in science and technology, we continue to work with manufacturers and scientists to find better materials at lower costs and pass these advancements on to you, the consumer.

Traditionally, rodents have been managed through continued trapping services or the use of rodenticide baiting programs. Mechanical traps require constant monitoring to remove captures and ensure the baits are fresh and attractive to the target pest. Due to the constant need for monitoring, these services become expensive over extended periods of time. Rodenticide baiting programs do not require as much monitoring and so they may be a more appealing alternative to mechanical trapping. Unfortunately, there is no way to predict where the animal will expire which can lead to unpleasant odors coming from the walls and floors while the deceased animal degrades. Many products and home remedies have recently been introduced to the market and claim to “repel” these pests. The issue with these products, like essential oils and plug in tone boxes, is that if the rodent’s need for food, water, or shelter is strong enough, they will overcome these repellents and take up residence within the home or business anyway. While each of these traditional options has their pros and cons, none of them truly address the root cause of the problem. Exclusion provides a solution to your pest issue without the long-term use of mechanical traps, rodenticides, or repellents. In addition, many vertebrate pests can be evicted through the use of valves and one-way doors in conjunction with exclusion without the worry of harming or killing the target pest.

The process of the Exclusion Pro System begins with a free, thorough onsite inspection of the exterior of your home or business. During this inspection, we will identify existing entry points, areas of concern for weakness, and any potential areas that could be used for entry in the future. Once all the potential areas of concern are identified, we will custom design your Exclusion Pro System to fit your home and pest needs. The system will be described in detail to you so that you understand every step of the process. Some samples will be made available at the time of the consultation so that you can have a better understanding of what the system will look like once it is installed.

On the day(s) of installation, a team of skilled technicians will arrive to custom fabricate and install your exclusion system. If your system requires interior mechanical trapping, you will only have to be home while they install those devices. The rest of the process only requires access to the exterior of your home. The team will introduce themselves to you and will be available to answer any questions or concerns you may have throughout the process. The team will then install barriers over every potential entry point on your home and with multiple layers of protection will be installed on the weakest areas. If you are receiving an eviction service, all one-way doors and excluders will be installed during this initial service as well. If you are available upon the completion of the system installation, a technician will walk around the exterior of the property with you to show you the work that was done and answer any questions you may have.

Whenever an Exclusion Pro System is installed, there is a risk that vertebrate pests may already be inside the property at the time of service. To ensure these pests are eliminated, you will often have a trapping and/or eviction service included with your program. Devices will be utilized and monitored over the period of a few weeks following the installation to confirm we have removed/evicted all vertebrate pests from the home. Once we are certain that they are all gone, these devices will be removed, any remaining seal up work will be completed (sealing where eviction devices were located), and monitoring stations will be installed. These monitoring stations are non-toxic and non-lethal and are installed to give us visible evidence during future visits to determine whether pest activity has or has not occurred.

Most Exclusion Pro Systems come with a renewable warranty. When the initial term of that warranty is about to expire, we will inspect the system again to ensure that it is still functioning properly. We will inspect the monitoring devices to ensure no pest activity has occurred since the installation. The warranty will then be renewable annually for a maintenance fee. This fee covers the inspection as well as any minor repairs that may be necessary due to weathering, aging, and the settling of the structure. If major repairs are necessary due to a construction project (such as replacing a deck or door), there may be an additional fee for the repairs.
