Pest-End Bed Bug Solutions

Pest-End Bed Bug Solutions

Google "bed bugs" and you will find page after page of do-it-yourself solutions to your bed bug problem from home remedies to pesticides. While you may think it can't hurt to give it a try before you call in the professionals, think twice. The decisions you make while researching your treatment options or preparing your home for treatment can make a dramatic difference between ridding yourself of these pests and making it worse.Just because you can walk into any home improvement store and buy a pesticide off the shelf does not mean that you should do so and then proceed to use it in a bedroom where you spend a large chunk of your life sleeping. In addition, when a highly repellent chemical is used, the bed bugs will be quite literally crawling up the walls. The chemicals may force the bed bugs into other rooms and deeper into furniture and wall voids. This could make your bed bug problem far worse than when you started.Pest-End offers several options for remediating your bed bug problem no matter how severe it is. One very unique thing about our company is the Canine Team. We have two very special canines that have been highly trained to sniff out bed bugs. Our dogs, Rascal and Harley, were trained at J & K Canine Academy in Florida. Both the canines and their handlers have undergone rigorous training. Rascal and Harley have the ability to search apartment buildings, hotels, single family homes, office buildings, and just about any other area in a fraction of the time that it would take for a visual inspection performed by a pest control technician. Detection dogs are very efficient and far more accurate than the human eye. From there we offer two services that can eliminate your bed bug issue privately and quickly.

  • Thermal Remediation This is our most effective bed bug treatment. This process heats up an area to 120 to 140 degrees and maintains that temperature for 3 hours. Due to the way in which the area is treated and the air is circulated, there are no cracks or areas that are missed. This process also entails the smallest amount of preparation as most of the belongings are left in the home to be heated.
  • Steam and Vacuum Service - The other option is very eco-friendly and has been used for years in successfully getting rid of bed bugs. There are no chemicals involved. Two of our technicians will arrive at your home and, after an initial inspection, will steam and vacuum all rooms of concern and the furniture inside of them. Although this is a time consuming and invasive treatment, it is highly effective. Having two technicians scheduled to go to your home enables a more thorough treatment as they can move furniture more easily and can thus treat harder to reach areas where bed bugs may hide.

If you have further questions about the details of these services please call us at Pest-End. We will be happy to answer all of your questions.
