At Pest-End, giving back is at the heart of what we do. While our mission is to better our customers' lives by providing exceptional pest control solutions, we also believe in making a difference beyond the properties we protect. That's why we have partnered with two incredible charitable organizations, PestVets Council and United to Beat Malaria, to tackle two critical domestic and international issues: Supporting military families and helping to eradicate malaria.

Supporting Veterans: Our Partnership with the PestVets Council

Pest-End is a proud supporter of military service members' transitions to civilian careers, providing training and career development opportunities. We're incredibly proud to be part of the PestVets Council, an initiative of the National Pest Management Association (NPMA) that opens doors for military veterans to build rewarding careers in pest control. At Pest-End, we know that veterans bring a unique set of skills to our industry—discipline, leadership, problem-solving, and teamwork—and we're excited to help them transition from military service to civilian life.

PestVets is all about raising awareness of career opportunities in pest control for veterans, and we're right there alongside them. Since receiving our PestVet certification in early 2023, we've been committed to recruiting and supporting veterans and their families. We're also thrilled to be part of the Skillbridge program, which provides internships for military personnel transitioning out of active duty. In fact, we're welcoming our very first Skillbridge intern next month, and we can't wait to see the great things they'll bring to our team.

Not all NPMA members are certified as PestVets companies; we participate because military members and their families hold a special place in our hearts, and we want to help in every way we can. It's just one small way we can show our gratitude for their service and sacrifices.

Fighting Malaria: Our Partnership with United to Beat Malaria

Another cause close to our hearts is the fight against malaria. This disease tragically takes the life of a child nearly every minute. Since 2022, we've been proud partners of the United Nations Foundation's United to Beat Malaria, a global grassroots campaign dedicated to eradicating this preventable disease in our generation.

Over the past 15 years, this incredible campaign has brought together passionate advocates from around the world, helping protect over 40 million vulnerable people—children, pregnant women, people affected by conflict or natural disasters, and communities in remote areas. It's a truly life-saving effort, and we're deeply honored to be a part of it by donating a portion of yearly sales of our tick and mosquito programs to United to Beat Malaria. To date, we've contributed more than $21,000 for bed nets and vital tools in the battle against this preventable disease, with another donation scheduled for this month. Supporting health is at the heart of what we do, and we're honored to be part of this global fight.

You can Join Us in Making a Difference

We're incredibly proud of our partnerships with the PestVets Council and United to Beat Malaria but without you, we couldn't help out with these important initiatives. Every time you work with Pest-End, you're not just getting the best in pest control—you're joining us in giving back.

Our business is about safety, community, compassion, and doing the right thing. We're here to make homes and businesses safer, but we're also here to help people. With your help, we can make a difference in the world.

As we gather with friends and family this month to give thanks for all we have, let's also look ahead to Giving Tuesday - when we can pay it forward by giving time or money to any one of the many deserving charitable organizations in New England and beyond that help make our world a better place.
