  • Sometimes called a “Palmetto Bug”
  • Approximately 1.5 inches long with full-sized reddish brown wings and a light margin on their prothorax
  • Usually found in basements and sewers

German Cockroaches

German Cockroaches

  • About 5/8 inches long, light to medium brown with 2 dark parallel stripes
  • Breed year round indoors
  • Produce 30-40 eggs in each capsule
  • Typically found in kitchens and bathrooms
  • Prefer dark areas with grease build up

Oriental Cockroaches

  • Sometimes called a “Water Bug"
  • Large in size, very dark (almost black but sometimes reddish-brown)
  • Prefer dark, damp, cool areas such as basements

Pennsylvania Wood Roach

Pennsylvania Wood Roach

  • This cockroach is a nuisance pest. It does not infest homes.
  • Approximately 3/4 to 1 inch long
  • Males are dark brown while females are caramel colored
  • Usually found outdoors beneath bark mulch
  • May be brought indoors on infested firewood
  • Typically found during May and June during their mating season
